As is tradition, I'm posting some photos of local yard haunts I came across during garage and estate saling. I'm a little disappointed that I came across so few this year. I went out last night and took some more around my area. I appreciate the effort people put into making Halloween a little more spooky. Note, some of these were still under construction when I took pictures.
A neighboring town to me is named Oakville. This resident created "Croakville". It was featured on local news.
I'll be posting photos of my own haunt later today. Happy Halloween!

I am really digging the lighting. It looks like little multicolored fires everywhere.
ReplyDeleteAmazing what some homes are able to do these days. Halloween decorating has come a long way from when I was a kid.
ReplyDelete"Croak-ville," haha.
ReplyDeleteI'm always torn about halloween decorations. It's one thing to make your yard spooky and feel like a haunted house, like you do, but when I see what I call the "Snoopification"* of yards, I kind of roll my eyes and sigh.
*Snoopification: See Snoopy's house in A Charlie Brown Christmas, and Charlie Brown's rightful reaction to it. More is not always better in my book.
Win money money money! Spectacular, super-colossal neighborhood lights and display contest?
