I have lots more to get scanned and posted, if I ever find the time.Tomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03119827816698009731noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8080299065441712068.post-25392155967721666862018-03-30T17:53:40.825-05:002018-03-30T17:53:40.825-05:00Great post! I enjoy reading the articles too. This was the era of "general interest" magazines like Saturday Evening Post, Look, and Life. There was something for everyone in every issue.

Yeah, that burger just doesn't look appealing! The bun's too small, meat undercooked, and the cheese sure ain't a bright yellow Kraft Single like I grew up eating. And in my family, that salad bowl would be filled with potato chips.

RC Cola was a player in the soda pop wars of the 1970s with their catchy and fun "Me and my RC" commercials. In Omaha, one can buy a two-liter bottle of RC for 99-cents. I like it, though yeah, the nostalgia factor helps. With high fructose corns syrup instead of sugar, I suspect the authentic Seventies RC just can't be had anymore for love nor money.

Thanks for sharing from your bounty of treasures!Gary R. Some amazing stuff was showcased there.Caffeinated Joehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18116651473308629663noreply@blogger.com
