Noah's Ark

My parents didn't go out to dinner too often when I was a kid, but one of their usual places to go when they did was Noah's Ark in St. Charles, Missouri.  I was always asleep by the time they got home, but I was always assured of finding swizzle stick giraffes to play with when I woke up in the morning.

I found this brochure for Noah's Ark at an estate sale last week.  I love the Noah's Ark mobile.  I also never knew it was a Motor Inn as well.

I always wanted to go with my parents, but they said kids weren't allowed.  Looking at the pictures below, I'm a little dubious.

Built in 1967, Noah's Ark enjoyed a profitable run until declining in the 1990's and closing in 2000.  It was torn down in 2007.  Todd over at Neatocoolville caught some pictures just before it was torn down.

  2. Hi! Came across your blog when searching for Noah's Ark stuff. My in-laws will be married 50 years this year and they got engaged at Noah's Ark. Do you have any Noah's Ark memorabilia that you would be willing to sell? We're looking to do a framed collage and surprise them! My mother-in-law always regretted they didn't get out there before it was torn down.

    Thanks for your help!

    1. Sorry, I don't have any memorabilia outside of some giraffe drink stirrers. Thanks for stopping by!
