Cake 'n Roll

I found these Rock 'n Roll teeny bopper cake toppers at an estate sale this past weekend.

They're made in Hong Kong and probably date from the early to mid 1960's.  The figures for the boys as well as the girls are the same with just a change in clothing coloring.  They stand 3 1/2 inches tall.

I love these tiny record players.

The records have real record company names on them and at least some of the songs are actual releases.

I'm not sure if "Pat Poone" is intentional or a typo.

It's a little hard to read this one, but it's "The Story of My Love" by "Paul Amar".  It's actually by Paul Anka.

      Yes, very Charlie-Brownesque.

  3. Absolutely fabulous. What a find! Have you looked into what collectors might pay for these?

    1. I haven't checked yet, but I'd think there would be a market for them. I will probably list these on eBay at some point.
