Fuzzy Peck

These two flocked felines are frolicking playfully on a Jack O' Lantern who appears to be none to happy about the situation.  Watch those claws!

This die cut was produced by Peck in the 1970's and was previously seen a Halloween post I did in 2017 where it appeared on a wall behind Fonzie in the "Happy Days" episode "Haunted".

As mentioned, the cats are flocked in a black velvet, a die cut feature exclusive, to my knowledge, to Peck.

  1. pretty sure my aunt and uncle still have their flocked cutouts like this. they are definitely the same era. i should ask them. maybe i could get you a score if they don't hang them up anymore, haha.

    1. That would be extra special, since they were your Aunt's and Uncle's. I'm sure one of their kids would want them though having grown up with them. I would.

  2. Had a different decoration with the feel to it. Don't remember exactly. But I remember touching it often.

    1. Yes. I actually don't remember the flocked Halloween decorations, but I do remember Christmas coloring books that had Santa's hat and suit flocked in red velvet. It always made the book seem like it was something extra special.

  3. I really had to see what a "fuzzy peck" was. I think we has some back in the day.
