When you see more die cuts posted, you know I'm running behind on posts and needed something quick. I'm having trouble keeping up this year, despite taking several days off this past week. But anyway, here you go. While these aren't classic die cuts, they are Beistle and they date from the 1980's, so they have a little creep cred.
First up is a classic Dracula.
Next we have "Punk" Frankenstein, "Punkenstein, if you will, complete with earring and dog collar. Where's the safety pins?
Here's the Wolfman in full wolfie mode. There's something about his nose I don't like.
And finally, while not a classic Universal monster, we have classic Death ready to tap you on the shoulder.
If you find my posts coming up short, don't forget, there's a whole ghoulery of bloggers over in The Countdown you can check out -- if you dare!
The earring is an odd choice for Frankenstein's monster, i agree. The collar i can see -- gotta keep him from wandering around and tossing children into lakes and all. And yeah, something isn't right about Wolfie's nose. Too pig-like, maybe? The hooded skull is perfect, though.

DeleteI think that's it. Those nostril swirls.
i also think it doesn't help that his snout looks too short, too fore-shortened, or something.
DeleteI love the style, I’ve seen Dracula and the Ghoul before, but the other two are new to me. Very nice.
ReplyDeleteYeah for "newer" (how much longer can we use that term for the '80's?) they are well done.
DeleteDracula looks very youthful and very 50s. But cool designs all the same.
