Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow!

After two fairly heavy snows in November, the month of December has been virtually snowless here in Missouri. It was starting to look like a green Christmas, but this morning we woke up to a blanket of whiteness.

It just so happened that today I also decorated our living room windows using some vintage Aero Snow stencils I bought at a garage sale years ago.

After years of use, the stencils are starting to wear out, so I decided to scan them so they could be reprinted on card stock and cut out with an X-acto knife.  I'm posting them here as well in case someone else would like to do the same.

Here are a couple of vintage cans of snow I found as well in the past year.

Non-flammable.  Flammable snow would be so awesome.

The aerosol from these cans has long since pierced the ozone and now mingles among the stars. Fortunately, canned snow can still be bought.

Here's the end result on my windows.

    1. It dries into basically cornstarch. The harder trick is getting it stay through the season rather than getting it off. Wipes off easily.
