Halloween Revisited -- The Devil, You Say?

I dropped the ball today, so I'm introducing a new feature for this year called "Halloween Revisited".  This isn't a "best of", it's more of a "hey, what have I already posted in past years that people may not have seen or remember?"

This one dates back to 2011 prior to my participating in the Countdown to Halloween.

It's rare to find cherubic devils, but here we are.  I found this guy at a garage sale way back when (when you could still find decent vintage items at garage sales at affordable prices)

Granted, he's a cute devil, but he still has a look of mischief in his eyes and you can't miss the horns sticking out of his head.  He was made by Kreiss in the 1950's.  His tail is made from pipe cleaner.  I like his winged cape.  I'm not sure what we're supposed to quiet about or why he's holding his hand to his ear like a stereotypical DJ.  Maybe it's implying you should be quiet because the devil is listening?

The tragic coda to this story is, this little fellow took a dive off my fireplace mantle a few years ago and shattered.  I was able to save him and piece him back together with the help of Elmer's glue and some sculpting clay.
