Haunted Homes

Well, once again the day is here.  It seems to go faster and faster every year.  I can't believe October is over.

The last few years, I've started taking photos of decorated homes I see while out garage and estate saling  Here is this year's offering.  I actually went back to a few after dark to get the full effect.  The great thing is, in my experience, people are always welcoming of you to walk on their property and taking photos of their decorations. Enjoy!

This next house winds hands down for most props used.The next 18 photos are all from the same house.

I came across this headless horseman while out garage saling and had to stop.  The owner was just starting to put out decorations and invited me to come back when he was done.  We went back out after dark a few days later.

I came across this house while driving to an estate sale I loved the whimsy of the skeletons climbing the outside of the house.

In my own neighborhood, I've noticed quite a downturn in exterior decoration.  The couple in one of the home that decorated the most moved away this year. How are the houses in your neighborhood?  Are people participating in decorating?  Are you?
