We're not done with die cuts yet, not by a long shot.
Here's another witch die cut made by Beistle. It's another unusual one I've not seen before and was bought at the same sale as yesterday's witch. I believe it's a bit older and probably dates to the 1940's or before.
Perched on her stool, she stirs the post of her ghoulish goo with a dead branch. When's dinner?
Hazel's slammin' bod is betrayed by the buckle shoes and poofy skirt--Time to conjure up some yoga pants and high heels.
ReplyDeleteTop Cat - Yoga pants with high heels? We yogis wear Birkenstocks. But I too noticed that she has some pretty svelte abs.
ReplyDeleteSometimes I feel like you live in an amazing parallel universe where there are still good yard sales and estate sales. :)
ReplyDeleteEvery once in a while, I push through the veil and find a sale like this. It's as surprising to me as you. I weed through a lot of junk sales to hit one or two of these each year.
Deleteinteresting that her hat isn't just black with a green band -- someone made a mistake with the plates for the color separations!
ReplyDeleteCool one. She looks more pleasant that yesterday's witch.
ReplyDeleteCool Item!!
ReplyDeleteI love this! I wish die-cuts were as easy to get as in the past. Now you gotta find vintage, order online, etc. I miss going into wm, target, etc for them. Die-cuts and blow Molds will always be my #1 Halloween (and Christmas) decorations! At least blow Molds are making a come back!
ReplyDeleteBeistle does sell a vintage line of reproductions. I remember about 10 years ago, they were selling them inside Spirit Halloween stores. I haven't seen them in a brick & mortar store since. https://www.vintagebeistle.com/store/c/18-Vintage-Halloween.aspx
