Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thankgiving to my readers in the United States.  I thought I'd share some of my Thanksgiving-related finds from over the years.  No special story behind these, just things I liked and now use.  First up are some honeycomb decorations.  We had a Hallmark honeycomb turkey when I was a kid. It was our sole Thanksgiving decoration.  My sister and I would fight over assembling it.

Happy Thanksgiving!

I know what you're thinking: "You disappear after Halloween and now you come crawling back with a measly Thanksgiving offering of old newpaper ads."  And you'd be right.  These come from the ad "slicks" (I believe that is the term) I found several years ago.

I hope you'll enjoy them and remember, save me the drumstick!

Happy Thanksgiving

More from the newspaper advertising templates.

Happy Thanksgiving and don't overstuff yourself!  Or do. Who am I to judge?

Sliding into Thanksgiving

With Thanksgiving upon us, I thought I'd share some more pictures from the Baby Endangerment family.  I'm not sure this is Thanksgiving since I don't see a turkey, but I see stuffing, so that's good enough for me.

I love their blue kitchen.

Thanksgiving Wisdom

This was among the stack of children's magazines I acquired a few months ago.  The same stack as the Jack and Jill from October.

This is Wee Wisdom, November 1947 issue.  The cover shows the gang coming over for a game of football (or possibly picking the boy up) while the neighbor's dog looks on.
