I found these frame tray puzzles at a garage sale a couple weekends ago for a quarter a piece. They date from 1969.
Mighty Mouse began life in 1942 as Super Mouse and sported red and blue tights similar to those of Superman, changing his name and outfit to the now-familiar only a couple years later.
I watched Mighty Mouse when I was a kid. It was shown alongside Casper, Heckle & Jeckle, Babie Huey and other Terrytoon cartoons. I was never a big fan, but who couldn't help cheer when Mighty Mouse began kicking serious cat butt, saving his girlfriend Pearl Pureheart from the dastardly deeds of Oil Can Harry.
