Jaws (Breakers)

Just when you thought it was safe to go back into the candy aisle...

Continuing yesterday's theme of candy containers, I present this 1981 "Jawz" (not "Jaws" so don't sue us) candy container, complete with original candy. I found this at the same sale as the "Chug-a-Can".

This candy container has an extra added play feature which allows you to open the shark's jaws, er, jawz.

Ingredients are the standard sugar, corn syrup, and colors.

I haven't been adventurous enough to crack him open to try the 41-year-old mini jaw breakers.  I suspect they weren't very good even when they were new.

  2. The candy-filled skinny-dipping babe didn't make it past R&D.

    1. What do you think those little round things are inside the shark? Skinny-dipping babe bits.
