I couldn't find an exact year on these buttons, but they appear to be from the 90's, which I must continue to remind myself was 30 years ago.
I'm not sure if I just don't see it, but it seems like companies just don't do big Halloween pushes like they used to. In addition to Budweiser, I remember big displays of Pepsi and Frito-Lay products with Universal Monsters promoting their products in stores along with ad campaigns. It seems like holiday advertising peaked and died some time in the 90's. While there's certainly no shortage of Halloween products these days, the creativity seems to have declined drastically.
This button isn't for Budweiser, but rather United Receptacles. It has orange and features an alien, so hey, Halloween. United is still in business today and provide trashcans for commercial use.
Here are a few Budweiser Halloween commercials from the 90's for your consideration. I did Google "Halloween Commercials 2025" and came up with a handful (Butterfinger and Burger King), but wasn't really dazzled. If you know of some good Halloween commercials this year, let me know in the comments.
