This child's light-up Jack O' Lantern pin features a peeking mouse wearing a witch's hat (or perhaps the mouse is in fact a witch) and lights up with a pull of the attached cord.
At least it would if I had the right-sized battery. It appears to take a 1 1/8" long battery. I'm not sure what type of battery that would be. The pin is made in Hong Kong and probably dates to the '70's.
was this a light for safety, you think? or just decoration? seems like it wouldn't be bright enough for safety, but hey, back in the '70s, who knows.
ReplyDeleteI think it was more of a bauble to wear on Halloween. I had something similar with a Santa face whose nose lit up.
DeleteStill, very cool find!
