This huge Dennison Witch diecut was another find at the Halloween collector estate sale. She's a little worse for wear, but vary rare to find. She stands a whopping 67" tall.
She wears a corset to keep her ghoulish figure.
An owl spies from her satchel, wondering what horrors she'll commit this night, his eyes bulging at the thought.
Shoes too small to encase her moldering feet.
I do like her skirt pattern.
The diecut comes with a separate broom diecut, which while cool, makes for difficult display.
This diecut makes an appearance in one of my favorite Happy Days episodes, "Haunted". I even did a post on the episode a few years ago, showcasing the various diecuts used in it. At the time, I thought it was a Beistle, but based on the artwork, I'm now convinced it was Dennison.
funny, the corset was the first thing i noticed, too. it's quite an unusual detail!
